I used to get angry about that kind of stuff, but not anymore. You see, I graduated college, got married and had to move away for a job... now I have projects sitting in my Dad's yard that I will get to "some day." I don't have the resources available right now, but be darned if I would let my Dad sell the 51 Ford F-6 for the $250 it's worth, because it has memories for me and I will fix it up some day. I just do not know when that day will be. Next in my life will probably come a family for my wife and I, the truck will be moved lower on the list to make way for cribs, diapers, car seats, a college fund, etc. The truck will have to wait, which might be sad to some - but if I sell that truck it is like selling my hope. Sometimes when I cash my paycheck that was already spent on life's necessities two weeks ago I get a little depressed, but I think about how all the work I'm doing right now will lead me to that "some day" when I can finally restore that truck. Even if that "some day" never comes and the truck rots to the ground, the $250 could never buy me hope.
