Front End Weight

I was wondering if you guys have any ideas on how to weigh down the front end of a David Brown 990? I realize that trying to find original or replacement ballast weights and bracket for the front end of this thing would be impossible so I am open for suggestions. Tonight I tried to move one of the wife's round bales to her horse pasture with a 3pt bale fork but front end kept coming up on me. Was able to nurse the bale into the pasture but would pretty much rode a wheelie all the way in. This tractor has the power but lacks weight in the front to get the job done. Thanks, Rod
