Look for a small independent auto electric place in your area to have your generator checked. Most independents seem to be pretty sharp folks. As far as batteries, you mostly want to make sure your terminals are in the same position, and that it fits in the space available. You should be able to take it to a battery shop and they can match it. It shouldn't be too tough to match your V-belt, the key is to find a parts place with a guy that has a clue working there. Might take a bit of looking around.
