old boss just had an upgraded tranny put in our 3500 dually was 8000. he drove the truck down there ours was skipping slipping everything. he went to a guy in alabama. took him 2 days and the bill was 8000 dollars. not 2000 i saw the bill. that was for him taking the old one out installing one of his off the shelf. saved us fighting it right now and were busy also saved the freight him sending us a new one and us sending back the old one. the tranny that was installed was supposedly new inside upgraded torque converter clutch packs everything and was 8000 on the head had the truck 2 days. took ours out put a completely different one in. upgrade possibly 2 grand but htats your work and your time. also thats if the old one is still good to upgrade but lets face it dodge never ahd a good transmission in it from the show room
