So I take the simple way to connect lights(directly to the battery). This simple method only lasted an hour or two as they slowing went dim as I wore the battery down. I do have the operators manual. I tried connecting to the voltage regulator. The lights came on.... with the tractor off. Obviously still sucking in battery juice. How do I connect the lights so that they will only run off the generator and not off of the battery. I did think of running off of the generator and not the voltage regulator but I had 24 volts(not 12V as the lights are). Any help(or an explanation of what I don't understand?) our there? Thanks...
