Thanks Bob. Yes that is the one. They ran the heavey wire from the big stud to the battery. They do have a short jumper wire on the stud also but one side not hooked to anything. The small wire from lug connection goes through a diode to the meter I think, didnt take the battery out to get a better look. Diode seems all right checked with ohm meter. Meter shows discharge with lights on so i think thats all right. Put my voltage meter on battery no different with alternator running or not. I will look at the those diagrams thanks very much. Monte
