We got our MH50 up in northern Minnesota. It already had fluid in the rear tires. It had been used for loader duty, but I just got the tractor and used it for snow plowing and baling. Snow plowing will definitely call for chains if you are pushing any great amount of snow. There never was any problem with the tires freezing up, and I doubt you've got anything worse to face than up there. For hauling implements around out in the field and so on it does seem to help. One of the tire stems leaked, and there was some rust on the rim and stem hole, but when we got the new tube put in that stuff was fairly easy to repair. And it's been fine since. I'd say keep the stuff in place.
