Isn't there some place on the tractor that the hydraulics can be tapped into at a connection with the use of a high pressure T or through plugs under the seat or under the tractor? How about through the remote valve or just before? If you have to tap into any hydraulic line, the only acceptable and SAFE way is to double-flare the lines. Same as brake lines, you can't single-flare or use compression fittings on brake lines. I'd hate to find out someone was seriously injured because of an unsafe hook-up to a hydraulic system.
