Chad, Thank you for your kind, mature response to my posting. Believe me, I am the last person to favor overseas conquest of domestic companies. But the world is changing. Very few goods we buy today are made entirely in the U.S.A. The auto industry has been making components in foreign countries (Mexico, Brazil, Germany, etc.) for decades. Even a lot of John Deere small tractors are made in Germany. I hate to see it too. But the merger, I think, will benefit both companies in their service to customers. New Holland, especially as you pointed out, will benefit from better parts distribution and availability. Case will gain from New Holland's worldwide presence. Again, thanks for your input. Good point. As for the rest of you children who cannot discuss this topic on a mature, rational level, please grow up.
