I agree that you should start with the simplest first. However, switching fluid viscosity and adding reservoirs are only band-aid solutions. There has to be something in the system making the oil overheat. I would only use manufactures recommended oil or equivalent. They have specified the optimum oil for the operating temperature of the machine. The only reason to change viscosity is for climate, but then only what's recommended. Now let's get down to basics, did the tractor always have this problem? Are the fins in the oil cooler plugged? Did you fill to the proper level? Did you use the proper replacement filter? Are the cylinders leaking externally or internally? Can you hear fluid by-passing the relief valve? Are there any leaking lines? If you listen to the pump while the tractor is running do you here knocking, cavitation or bearing noises? What about the breather for the system, is it plugged? Is it a closed centre or open centre system? If it's a closed center system does your steering creep, or rockshaft settle? A leak in these two systems can cause oil to overheat as well as take fluid away from the loader function. Check some of these things out, but just don't change viscosity, you'll do more damage than good. I hope it's not the pump, but don't be surprised.
