So, its too bad about the youth getting killed in that accident! Good thing it didn't happen in our area! We have a separate section in the phone book for lawyers, the tv is full of their annoying ads, those vultures are just waiting for somebody to call, so they can work up a reason to sue, even if the person hurt or killed was using the equipment properly! Didn't the organizers have any safety rules? Didn't they have speed limits on tractor speeds? Couldn't the tractors have been ridden off road? On the other hand, was the driver "showing off"? Especially with the braggin rights i have read about here in these messages! Really unfortunate, but those things happen! A bit of common sense would have helped here, but common sense seems to have been legislated out of peoples minds lately! any more, there seems to be a sense that anything manufactured must be so safe, the person can't possibly get hurt by it! And, if they get hurt by the machine, it must have been the mfgrs mistake, and they can sue for lots of money to assuage their feelings! So, what did the school board have to say about it? Have the lawsuits started yet? by: Rustyj
