Whatever you buy, check the nrr [noise reduction rating] on the package. The in the ear foam plugs usually have a better rating than muffs and don't interfere with glasses, caps, etc. If you really want muffs, you might want to check into the electronic ones. They have a mic and speakers and kick out over a preset decibel level. You can carry on a normal conversation until the noise level gets too high. Loy
