Well its getting a little blue around here. My little dog is starting to get old, tired and slow. We were out in the bush this morning, got another coon....makes me sad...she just doesn't have the "jump" anymore. She can sniff and track anything that has a pulse down, that hasn’t changed yet. This little girl means a great deal to me, I'd hate to lose her. One of these days she's going to go into a hole and not come out. At that point I’d feel like going in there with her. So I have been thinking of getting another dog. One to...compliment her. Probably a pup of something, something that she could train, and in a year or two, slowly take over the "battling" portion of the vermin hunting. I hate to think that I'm replacing her. So... what type of dog do you guys like?.. or had in the past that was a good family dog, but could handle some coons as well? Hound
