Not sure on this one. All I know is the low pressure tube comes from the bottom of the reservoir, through the filter, then to the pump. The filter is on the side of the reservoir and the pump is located at the front left of the engine. The high pressure tube runs back horizontal next the the low pressure tube then branches up toward (what I would consider)the valve.

It looks like to me air should be able to pass on its own back to the reservoir, except for the filter since it sets higher than the reservoir.I may have to send you a picture to clarify. As you can tell, I know very little about hydraulics.
