Im getting out of the army in a few months and moving back home to help on the farm. It's around 300 acres. They dont have a big horsepower tractor at home so im wondering which one would suit us best. We need something to due the heavy pulling around there, but i dont think we need anything much more than 100-110 HP.(we farm with 14 foot tillage equipment) Ive been looking at some in the 100-110 HP range (Oliver 1955, JD 4020, White 2-105, IH 806, AC 7010)Any opinions or experience with any of these models and brands, or any models I might have left out let me know.Im tryin to watch the budget a bit. The only other thing is, we have some soil conservation restrictions and the ground cant be moldboarded, only chiseled to preserve some residue on top. So my other question is, will any of these tractors pull a small chisel plow?? Any comments on some of my questions would be great. Thanks guys!!
