Hi all. I just got back from looking at a 1972 ford Mach 1 mustang and was wondering what you all would do?? The car needs restored and would be a project. So here's what it needs from what I can see. It needs 4 new tires, new rear quarter panels, the trunk needs a floor I think because you can see the gas tank. The right front inner quarter panel where the battery tray is supposed to be needs replaced, Needs a battery tray, The front radiator frame thingy that run's across the car needs replaced, The passenger side door post on the latch side has a small rust through hole and some other bad rust spots, The bottom passenger door is rusted through, Needs at least the drivers side floor pan, probably all of them need replaced. Needs new upholstery. The bottom of the hood has rusted through all along the front. Half of the engine is in the trunk( carb, dist, valve covers, ect.) The engine I'm pretty sure is stuck. The drivers side door needs a handle. The car has good glass, good chrome trim pieces, Good trunk lid, Frame from what I can see is good, and front outer quarter panel's are good, Top of the car is good. The wheels used to be nice but will need to be refinished or something. All the guages and dash are there. Oh, and the car is said to be number's matching, I don't know how to check the numbers so don't know if this is true or not. And the car has a title. That's about all I can think of right now. So what do y'all think, Worth $800???? Let me know what y'all think, Sorry for the long post, TractorMike
