I'm Done With Tractors!

Mornin' Guys, Aside from hangin' one more set of front-end weights on that rearin’ little guy down on the end, I am completely done with the tractor end of my newfound goal of getting back all my stuff and gettin' back out in the dirt once again. My friend in Iowa is sending the weights probably sometime this month, I'll paint 'em up and glue 'em on and then I’m gonna stick all three of these old buckaroos back out in the mud where they were designed to live. :>) The 966 turned out closest to the one I used to have; the H doesn’t have the bigger motor like my old one did and the 686 has the 310D instead of the 282D, which the old 656 had (I just can’t get used to that darned smoke at startup). Can’t believe it has taken 3 or 4 years, but the nice part is all the great people I’ve met here and all the help I’ve received while working on these old rascals. Heck with the tractors, tho. The biggest payoff is my new attitude. I’ve gone from thinking that I’m a washed-up old looser just waiting to die, to having a much-improved self-confidence and a whole brand new set of goals. I don’t ever wanna go back to the state of mind where I was at before stumbling onto this site and it’s nice people. Old tractors just make ya feel good! Thanks everyone, gotta go out and fix some old machinery today! Allan
