I am working on a budget for a future purchase and need advice on what type tractor and horsepower to consider. My main use will be cutting a 40' x 1200' grass aircraft runway. I would like to be able to cut it fairly short and in 3 or 4 easy passes therefore I'm thinking a 15' batwing. What would be the minimum horsepower needed for that ? I'm not rich so I'm thinking older (MF ?) tractor. Would also want to use loader, brush hog, and all of the normal hobby farm type implements. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice. Mike
