Dave, The county trucks here in Mid Michigan actually have a caster wheel that the blade rides on. BUT, my neighbor never filled the edge of his driveway, new asphalt. When the truck came by that winter, the driveway was about 4 inches above the shoulder of the road, took out about a three foot long chunk and a foot wide of his new driveway. Rick
