Wiring Harness to 1954 TO 30

I need help in connecting the wiring harness on my Ferguson TO 30.

The tractor is an American built 1954 gasoline Ferguson TO 30. It has been converted to a 12 volt alternator system.

I replaced the contact starter button and had to disconnect the wiring harness in the process. Now I cannot remember where the three wires to the harness are attached. There are two cables coming off the starter button. One goes to the positive side of the battery and the other one goes to the coil. The positive red cable coming off this button has a bundle of three wires. These wires are just bundled to this cable and not connected to it with a splice or anything. My question is related to the three wire bundle/harness.

This is how I think the wires go but need to know for sure and need the blank filled in.

On the starter switch there are three positions all of which have a connection for a cable. They are actually L for Lights, B for Battery and I for ignition. There is a small blue wire from the I connection and runs to the -30 pole on the Ampres Indicator.

On the Ampres Indicator there are two connections. One on the -30 pole/connection and one on the + 30 pole/connection.

The alternator has one connection that I know of. It is a Delco Remy 12 Volt Alternator.

Then there is a resistor connected to the coil and one of the wires on the harness definately goes here.

I think the connections go as follows:

I) I connection form ignition switch to the resistor. (The only question about this connection is maybe the wire should be attached to the L or B terminal. I know the other end goes to the resistor as it has as the resistor has a female connection to accept the male end of the wire.)

2) +30 connection/pole from Ampre Meter to Alternator. I am pretty confident that this goes here as there appears to be only one area to attach the wire to the alternator. The only other two possible connections to the alternator require a male-female-connection which is not present on the wires on the harness.

3) -30 connection/pole from Ampre Meter to ?????????? I am totally clueless as to where this wire gets attached and this seems to be my biggest problem.


Other things to know.

The resisttor is attached to the coil with an orange wire and then the middle of the coil has a wire to the middle of the distributor cap. Another wire goes from the coil to the side of the distributor cap.
Any help you can give would be mucho appreciated.
