Howdy, Boy chief, if you were in S. Ohio I"d be happy to help you out. I"ve sold johnson grass hay (cut prior to seeding) that weighed probably 60lbs. for $1.00 each. Orchard grass and timothy for 1.50. Sold 1st cutting alfalfa (40-50lbs ea.)for 2.00 each, 2nd cutting for 1.50, and 3rd cutting for 3.00 each. There are several people around here who don"t make a lot of money so I try to keep it cheap to help them out. Honestly, I"ve had a hard time moving much of it this winter up until last week. I"m runnin thin now after business picked up. Got less than 50 bales of everything except some johnson grass that has a little mold. Oh, and the 300 bales of straw too.
