I would look into vonage before you get any of the hardware. I bought the box at a local circuit city and vonage shows they support Illinois and they make it sound if you have broadband you can get vonage. that is not the case. i live about 20 miles east of st louis Missouri. i had it all hooked up and couldn't get a number in my area code. apparently anything below Chicago and the suburbs of Chicago is not covered by vonage yet. I could get a Missouri area code but everyone that would call me would pay long distance charges. so i took it all back. i thought it was funny that they would sell it at a retailer in an area not supported by vonage.
