just contact Waldon directly. i called and spoke to the gent who actually designed the 5000 way back when. i also asked him directly about manuals. he said you don't need the operator manual because, well, what is there to operating the thing? it's an engine connected to a big hydraulic pump. then he said the service manual pretty much only covers the loader, not the engine, so if you want to do engine work just look for the service manual for the industrial engine in your machine. he said the parts manual is really the most helpful as it shows exploded views of everything. i believe that one was about $100. i was going to get a copy, but the whole loader is really pretty simple. i think mine has about 7500 hours on it. yes, some of the pins and bushings in the loader are loose, but it does what i want it to do. my current problem is getting the thing to start when it's 10 degrees out (it's LP). the local forklift place said to get a NOS nitrous bottle heater to keep on the propane tank. i have a length of water pipe heat tape i'm going to try using tomorrow. we'll see how it works. i really don't want to spend $160 on the NOS tank heater.

oh, i was thinking of selling it a few times, but i think i'll keep the old guy for a while as it does come in handy.
