ya this seems to be a real problem for gm. i have a 97 chevy 100,000+ when you come to a fast stop and start to slide the abs kicks in feels like there isnt any pads.(thats your abs keeping you from locking up your wheels and possibly slidind out of control; anyways had mine at the brake shop and the couldn't figure it. so they only charged me for the brake job 345.00 and said those brakes are always spongy. bull.... took it to the dealer and they said it was ethier the left or right but the computer wasnt sending out enough signal to tell witch side .told me just to drive it till it gets worse. i did and took it back 2 months later and they checked it out again and replaced the driver side.it was only another 745.00 and some change. so if you have problems on something this new id exercise my right and use that warranty." dust my a.." unless you men are muddin out in the fields.i personally think this is another known hidden recall, just like they did to my dodge until the warranty ran out. that was another 600 some. they have bad manifold gaskets on the 318cu in. good luck gary case
