Howdy,

Hey now Thurlow, I'm not that old and I know that song. "It wasn't God who made honkey tonk angels" is the real title too :) You just have to have an appreciation for good music. I'm a bluegrass classic country man myself. Nothin like those good old Bill Monroe tunes about the old homeplace. Part of what got me so attached to the farm here. And boy what a blessed man you are Mr. De Voire. I'd trade my college education and anything it will bring me for a steady job, my grandpa's farm, and a good Christian woman. With the kind of junk that my generation is being put through with college and specialized careers, you're in your thirties before you have any kind of stability enough to even think about getting married. Or you're in debt so far that you'll never see the end of it. Or you could be in my boat and never have met a girl who will give you the time of day. Seems the women of my generation would rather have someone who will cuss at and abuse them rather than one who will treat 'em the way God wants us to. Oh well, I think I'll just adopt one of those sweet ladies from my church and forget about gettin married. Opinions?...ha ha. God bless.
