it means that the axles are rated at 7000 each or 14,000 gross trailer weight. the problem you will have is getting four tires to be rated at that weight also. cause you can legally only haul what your tires are rated at also. most class E tires at 3000 lds per tire. so you can only legally haul 12000. so be sure to look at your tires also cause the DOT will diffently look at them. johndeeregene
