If your Blazer has a key with the antitheft chip in it, the chip may have gone bad. I help out in a repair shop and a lady had us trailer her '00 Gran Prix in to fix. It would start, run for a second and die. After 2 days of "checking" a GM dealer made us aware of the issue with the chip. Turns out, she had locked her keys in the car and used the spare to unlock it. Stuck the spare in the ignition switch and tried to use it to start he car. She never thought to use the original, and called us. That was the problem. Spare key had back chip. Take keys to GM dealer and have them check them out to be sure they're good.
