Tell em John. I drove over there when I did my first restoration tractor. Head was cracked and crank scored. Fixed me right up and picked up a few more Ford parts while there. I mosey'd thru their machine shop and looked at some of their work and it is first class. This tractor was/is an SOS and I had doubts about it's condition. The (my) local SOS guy was long dead and that was before I knew about ytmag. Anyhew, I noticed a skid sitting there that had a complete 4 or 5 sp transmission including all adapters to remove and replace an SOS with a geared type for $1750. Kept that in mind, but the SOS is still working (for my son) so no need to fret. Later, Mark
