I went from a big dish to dishnetwork about 4 years ago. Like others said the only problem with reception is during an extremely heavy rain. The one thing that I don't like is that there is no alacarte programming. On the big dish I really enjoyed speedvision. With Dnetwork I would have to buy the sports package to recieve it. I have absolutely no use for professional sports. They have some great deals to get you in but once you are there it's no free ride anymore. They have a great new receiver that has a TIVO like feature built into it. If I were a new customer it would be mine for free. Since I just want to upgrade they want 400 bucks for the thing. They define new customer as someone not havinf their service for six months.
