Some of you may already know this but for those that didn't Mr. Fitts owner and operator of S.A. Fitts Tractor &
Equipment Co. and Cascade Cattle, Land Machinery Co. passed back in August. He helped me many times over the years find parts. I live about 60 miles east of his place. Back in the spring he found a radiator for my 574 IH. I was talking to a friend yesterday and he told me Mr. Fitts had passed. I'll sure miss him. His son is still operating the business though. Anyway I had seen his name on the site before and figured some of you good folks had talked to him about some parts for your projects and knew him.

I found this in a Martinsville news paper online.

Today's Featured Article - The Day Mom Drove the 8N - by Brian Browning. My Dad was wanting to put in a garden but couldn't operate the 8N and handle the old horse drawn plow he had found and rigged up to use with the tractor. Well, he decided to go get Mom out of the house and have her drive the tractor while he walked behind the plow. You got to understand that while my Mom is a hard worker who will always help whenever she can... she had never operated farm machinery before that day. Dad got her out there, explained how the clutch was the same as in our o ... [Read Article]
