Howdy Allen, Most of what I do at my "day job" is to negotiate contracts, book contractors, take bids, and oversee the contractors "progress". (Some people think all I do is set at a computer and play....) Generally, when a contractor has to be removed from a project, it is no less trouble than trying to complete a job, with a contractor that isn't qualified to do what they're TRYING to do. In other words, the pain they'll try to inflict because of being booted, is no worse than trying to put up with their nonsense. In the end, I'm responsible for what THEY do. If I want someone gone....they are gone. Do what you know you gotta do....John
