Is solar powered tractors the wave of the future?

Yesterday I went to the fair like I do every year at this time . while checking out the show tractors I ran across a 50"s cub that a man converted to solar power . It looked pretty simple but the only awkuward thing was the 4x8 solar panel over the top of the tractor . I give this Man an attaboy for finding new ways to by pass gas and oil alternatives.What do you think?
