I have always had a nice lawn. I have gone from 1/4 acre to one acre to 4 acre lawns. The equipment just changes size and work smarter. I use a liquid sprayer pull behind for weeds and pull type spreader for fertilizer. I use 2,4,D amine in mid spring (April)to kill all broadleafs. I fertilize (15-15-15)300lbs per acres, the first of May with 1% iron. All Coop brand products. I use a corn or tabacco fertilizer in fall (10-20-50)for root growth. I like the grass cut short in spring and fall. The lawn fills in on its own without top dressing or seeding. Have fun!!
