I assume you are using putting bigger tires for more traction , pressed steel rims for less weight and LP for extra HP?
The G and 70's had such a fast 1st gear that taller tires may over speed you over the limit in " stock classes". If she can make the HP to keep from stalling in heavier than 8000lb classes on clay power tracks. You are likely using a rowcrop chassis rather than a standard chassis?
Assuming this is a diesel, the HP restriction is air flow, not fuel flow. The 70's 10mm pumps and injectors can be swapped out for 720/730/ blackdash820/830/840 13mm pumps. Injector tips with 5 or 6 10 thou holes or six 12 thou holes can be used.
To improve airflow the 720/730 head can be used as it has larger intake valves and is less prone to cracking. Check the head casting number to see if the upgrade has already been made to your 70. The airfilter can be converted to a dry element, valves backcut and ports blended.
LP will just get yourself booted out of the stock class.
