I had an Ingersoll with an Onan engine that I purchased in 1986 - 1987. It ran well for over 16 years until one day the hose on the hydraulic let go and bathed my leg in oil. Figuring that age was catching up with me, I traded it in on a new 4016 with a Briggs and Stratton engine. I wish that I had put the money in the Onan engine and hoses rather than getting a new machine with a B&S engine. Right now the new machine is back being repaired for the third time in 1.5 years. The chankcase oil has been forced back into the air cleaner of the B&S engine each time.
