Yes I remember the tread, but it's not over an if people don't keep up the pressure soon all the interstates will be toll roads. Traveling the back roads an state hwy's is nice an I have been over many in the 30 years I have drivin truck an you are correct sometimes large trucks can not us them at times. However State Rt's are all far game to large trucks for the most part, the Rt's are for the most 2 lane roads thought many small towns. I know that many of the larger trucking company's now day route their trucks on the state Rt's to save money an keep off the toll road. Example is RT30, RT20 an RT24 in Indiana an Ohio, the company I worked for routed all of it's trucks headed east or west over these roads to bypass the tool roads in Ohio an Indiana, if this law passes an the interstate like I75 in Ohio an I69 in Indiana along with I70 become toll roads the truck traffic will triple an back road will become shotcuts between off route's.
