I'm up here in NC so I probably know about many of the auctions you attend. You may be a nice guy and not want to take these folks to court, and that's a commendable position. Thetre is way to much frivilous litigation going on nowdays anyway. I don't know exactly what you would need to do, but I would think you should file at least some kind of a claim with their insurance company. You don't need to ask for mountains of money, mainly you just need to legally document what happened. Having been dragged like that and being just generally beat up it's just a good way to cover your own a-- in case something shows up several days from now that is attributed to this incident. Just like any other accident it may take several days for something to show up that you wouldn't even think about having happened til you started hurting. If you haven't filed anything before then it puts more of the burden of proof as to the cause of the injuries on you.
Just a thought and my .02........
