I can say thats true to some degree.Where I live, several county as well as state laws state that at any type of event the person or comapny putting on the event is soley responsible for an accidents or injuries that may occur. This person or comapny has the right to refuse anyone that may deem dangerous or incompetent. This leaves the guy putting on the show the responsible party. However,in all the years I have attented and put on shows,I have not yet sen an incident where someone was hurt or tried to sue anyone from it.there was one case at a show last year where a visitor passed out from the heat and tried to blame the sponsor for not providing water coolers around the property to prevent this, but the judge threw it out almost immediately.but like you say,if i screw up and someone gets hurt, its MY fault and I should be responsible for it.
