It reminds me of how the US rounded up all the Japanese Americans on the west coast, after Pearl Harbor, and put them into relocation camps, even though they had never done anything wrong. Japanese Americans that enlisted went to Europe to fight with great distinction including the Senator from Hawaii, though I can't remember his name. The Idiot's who left all the battleships in Pearl Harbor as a big fat target, got no criticism whatsowever. This includes Admiral Nimitz who had an aircraft carrier named after him. Its a similar thing with the trade tower bombings. Most of the cockpits only had a vinyl door separating the pilots from the passengers, and that usually wasn't even closed. Common sense says that a locking door should have been the first order of security at least 30 years ago!!, but was probably resisted by the airline industry due to cost. For sure the Congress never blames themselves for these oversights, in the old days or today, but they are probably the guiltiet people of all when it comes to a conflict of interest between our lobbyists and national security. I think its much more important to look at the people at the top who didn't do their jobs properly than it is to blame an innocent ethinic group such as the Japanes American from World War II. These would include the president, the congress, the FBI and the CIA. I recently had to go to a 3 hour class on homeland security for the highway department where I work. What a joke, it doesn't take 3 hours to tell you how to dial 911 or that code red is the highest danger of the new color code scheme. Its worse than the blind leading the blind.
