Things we did as kids around tractors that got our butts whacked. I do recall as a kid along with my younger brother and sister (twins) having a hammer and "fixing" things. For some reason, tapping Dad's prize 70D standard here and there seemed like good fun. The tach glass ended up taking a loss and I knew I was in trouble then. Fled the scene of the crime and put the hammer back in the shed. That was bad enough but my curious brother and/or sister fiddled with the indicator needle and yanked it off. Interestingly enough they still haven’t owned up to their portion of the incident even now in middle age. My Father still gives me a dig about the crime every now and again.
