In my area(NW ND), after the 4020's became too small for fieldwork they all became loader tractors. Now they're losing that job to the 4430's and 1066's, etc. A 4020 could handle a large round hay bale almost as well as a 4430, but we rarely hear of front spindles breaking on a 4430. Also, the extra built-in weight and longer wheelbase eliminated the need for extra wheel weights to balance out the load.
