I have a 01 2500 4 X 4 Cummins with a automatic. Just got done pulling 18 900 lb round bales on 30' gooseneck trailer, truck 6800, trailer 6000, hay 16200, GVW 31,400 lbs. Walked the dog with it, usally do not load near as heavy but I was lazy and did not want to make a second 200 mile run. Thats the most I have had on it. Fuel ecomony is usally 19-21 mpg and with the empty trailer around 17. This load got a whopping 7 mpg. Truck has 89K on the clock. Van
