Hey all I have a 1999 2500 4x4 QC,LB 4:10's and I average 20.5 to 21 on the highway keeping it around the 69-70 mark. A lot of the mileage comes from how they are driven. I pull a 28' gooseneck with mine carrying my A and or G John Deere's and still maintain 13.5 -14. I don't go by the overhead console, I compute fuel economy by odometer and fuel put in the tank. My truck has 138,860 miles on it and till looks pristine. I have been Cummins certified for 11 years and do all of my own service. I have entertained maybe looking for a newer truck, but i am so attached to this one, i will stay with it, and just add on as i need to. I nkow the trans are the weak points and it will be a matter of time befor i need to put one in, but i will do an aftermarket unit with the big billet constructed converter. r/ Eric
