I have a John Deere 4310 4x4 ehydro with a Long 4 in 1 bucket on a 430 loader and I love it. I moved a lot of 12' long sections of 12"+ diameter green pine after Hurricane Isabell with ease. Most of the contractors around here use the compact JD's, so that is a good endorsement for them. I looked a Kubota, but the fit and finish on the JD is far superior. I also like the hydro pedal placement much better than Kubota's. Either one would probably be an excellent tractor, but I just like JD better and I am willing to pay a little more to get it. Rawleigh
