I think what you are trying to do is a locating service and not a inspection service. I do not think the price you could charge for this would be worth your time but thats up to you.
BUT if you want and inspection service......... If you want to see what others are charging for this service and what their inspections involve go to http://equipmentfacts.com/index.asp? click on view reports and cost to see info. This is a inspection service for on line bidding at auctions. I would think a flat rate in a certain diameter of your home. Out side this circle would be out of your area or a extra milage charge. The problem I would have with your service is --- how do I know that you know enough about tractors to be able to know what to look at. No offence but I do not know you from the man in the moon. You would have to be a certified inspector with scooling or on the job training and a way to specify what your inspection report mean. I know that you will give me a straight answer as you have nothing to gain by streaching the truth as the seller does but can you see my point.
