It was probably what is commonly known as a Doodle Bug. Dodge chassis with the frame shortened and truck tires on the rear. I have a restored 1919 Dodge Touring. The Dodge Brothers built parts for Ford before they built their own car. Their first car had the first industry made all steel body. Their first cars had more power than Fords and 331/2" tires where Ford had I believe 26" and the Dodge was much faster than the Ford but neither were easy to keep on the road at their top speed. I believe that Dodge had the first universal shift with the high gear shift forward so that it was against the dash and left more floor space but of course it wasn't as much fun to shift when you were out with your girl friend. They also had a low gear that you could plow with. A John Deere could plow faster but because of the war you could not buy neither new. Dodge was also 12 volt and their starter was chain drive and converted to a generator when the battery needed charging.
