I just bought a Jaguar 4000 mower (hydrostatic drive) which had hydrolic leaks all over and barely moved foward and backwards. I was told that it was working fine before it started to leak. I have repaired both of the front cylinders that lift the mower deck and replaced the rear steering cylinder. I have no leaks now. The hydrolic fluid reservior was completly empty which I have now filled. I started it up and I can hear the hydrolic pump working but the deck cylinders do not work and the mower is not moving forward or reverse. The book I have for this mower is a maintenance manual and does not show me what to check to figure out whats wrong. Do I need to bleed the system? Could the pump be bad or is something damaged because it was out of fluid? I appreciate any help you might give. Thanks, Brian
