Greg, you get what you pay for. Back in the 60s lots of people bought David Browns to save money to their sorrow, (even though they were much better than lots of the foreign crap that is being sold here these days) You don't see very many David Browns around anymore and the people are pulling their hair out, that do own them.Same with the Longs. Most of the Fords, MFs, JDs, sold then are still here| Stear clear of Fords with auto trans. and the late 50s, early 60s diesel. Perkins, is one of the better diesels. Kabota is the only foriegn tractor, I would consider, and I think they are overated. The 35 MF (3cyl) was the best and most versatile tractor of all times. Don't play into your mother n laws hands and be the fool she thinks, buy AMERICAN|
