But you all miss the great sociological impact you can be making. Being a boomer I was blessed to have grandparents, aunts and uncles who stilled farmed/ranched. Even though I was a city kid I cherish those visits. Something about riding on the tractors with my relatives taught ne a little bit about patience, planning, work ethic, appreciation of nature, etc. To me there is something about running equipment that shows you how you just can't hurry through every thing. So I hope you have kids, grandkids, great grandkids that you can take with you and share this experience. Seeing the snow cleared, the grass mowed, dirt piled, field plowed or hay baled, will imprint on them. Sorry to ramble, the soap box is starting to wobble.
