Auction was held in Western Pennsylvania this weekend. Mostly geared towards oilfield engines and other small hit and miss engines. There were about ten old tractors, but three that are pretty rare in my book. I am not sure that any of them ran, as they were never started and the auctioneer never claimed anything about them. I have put pictures of them in “Tractor Photos” under the “Galleries” of this site. LaCrosse Happy Farmer – Went for $11,500 Hart-Parr - $3,250 Heider - $8,200 These prices do not include a 10% buyers premium. The same guy bought all of them. Not a lot of contentious bidding except on the Heider. This auction was well attended. I saw license plates from as far away as Texas and heard one guy trying to get an engine shipped back to Alaska. An old Fairbanks hit and miss engine (maybe about 3 horsepower) went for $31,000 plus 10% buyers fee.
